- Account Information: When you connect your Meta account, we receive your name, email address, and user ID through Meta's OAuth authentication.
- Business Information: Client names, brand details, target audience descriptions, and campaign parameters you enter into the platform.
- Ad Content: Ad copy, creative briefs, and campaign configurations you create or approve within the platform.
1.2 Information from Meta Platform
When you authorize our application, we access the following data from your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) accounts via the Meta Marketing API:
- Ad Account Data: Ad account IDs, names, account status, currency, and timezone settings.
- Campaign Performance Data: Campaign, ad set, and ad-level metrics including impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, CTR, CPC, CPM, and ROAS.
- Ad Creative Data: Ad previews, creative elements, and ad status information.
- Audience Data: Targeting configurations and audience insights associated with your ad sets.
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
- Usage Data: Features accessed, actions taken within the platform, and interaction patterns.
- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers used to access the application.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Service Delivery: To provide campaign management, ad creation, performance analytics, and optimization recommendations.
- AI-Powered Analysis: To generate performance insights, ad copy suggestions, and optimization recommendations using artificial intelligence.
- Campaign Optimization: To apply automated rules for budget adjustments, bid management, and ad status changes based on performance metrics.
- Reporting: To generate performance reports and analytics dashboards for your advertising campaigns.

4. Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage: Campaign data, client information, and generated content are stored locally on secure storage systems controlled by the application operator.
- Access Tokens: Meta OAuth access tokens are stored securely and are used solely for API communication with Meta services on your behalf.
- Encryption: All communication with Meta APIs and third-party services is conducted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
- Access Controls: Access to the application and its data is restricted to authorized users only.
5. Data Retention
- Campaign Data: Campaign performance data and analytics are retained for as long as you maintain an active connection to the platform, or until you request deletion.
- Meta Access Tokens: OAuth tokens are retained until they expire or you disconnect your Meta account from the platform.
- Generated Content: AI-generated ad copy and creative content are retained until the associated campaign data is deleted.
- Account Deletion: Upon request, we will delete all stored data associated with your account within 30 days.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: You may request deletion of your data by contacting us. We will remove your information from our systems within 30 days.
- Revoke Access: You may disconnect your Meta account at any time through the application's Settings page or through your Meta account settings at Facebook Business Integrations.
- Data Portability: You may request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
7. Meta Platform Terms
Our use of data received from Meta is subject to the Meta Platform Terms and Meta Developer Policies. We comply with all applicable Meta data use requirements, including:

11. Data Deletion Instructions
To request deletion of your data:
- Navigate to Settings within the Content Machina application and disconnect your Meta account.
- Send an email to privacy@contentmachina.com requesting complete data deletion.
- Alternatively, you can remove Content Machina's access directly from your Facebook Business Integrations settings.
We will process your deletion request within 30 days and confirm completion via email.
